My Story

I started in restaurants in Germany, trained in Switzerland, and earned my credentials at Cornell.
By the time I turned 30, I was Managing Partner of Schloss Reinhartshausen. From there, I led one of Germany’s most iconic properties—Hotel Atlantic Kempinski Hamburg—for over eight years.

Before that, I spent years in the U.S. with Hilton—running Food & Beverage for New York Hilton, then Portland, then all of Europe.
I’ve managed flagship teams, turned around F&B programs, and aligned assets across continents.
I know what makes a hotel run. I know what makes one break. And I know how to bring a vision through to execution—fast, clean, and real.

I first met Ralf at Cornell in 1999.
We were classmates in the PDP program—two young professionals, learning fast, asking questions, and pushing toward what’s next.
We stayed connected across continents and roles.

Years later, I met his wife, Lai Yin—and I knew then Holedo wouldn’t fail.
I’m married to someone in hospitality too. I know what that looks like. I know what it takes.
Ralf and Lai Yin weren’t running a startup with support on the sidelines. They were building from the inside out—together, aligned, and unshakable.
That recognition mattered more than any deck or demo.

So I invested.
Not out of loyalty. Out of recognition.

Holedo isn’t a pitch. It’s a real solution—built by people who’ve lived the friction, the silos, and the cracks.
It’s what I wish I’d had while running global operations.
And it’s what I know the industry is ready for now.

This is how I lead.
This is why I back Holedo.
From brand to table, from ops to trust—this is hospitality, held.
